Teen Conference on Mckee farm

We’ve all heard of the studies which reveal the “great teen exodus.” That is, young adults who grow up in Christian homes walk away from the Church when they leave home—never to return. Honestly, we don’t need surveys to take notice.

Despite this growing trend, we’ve discovered a small percentage of teens who not only keep their faith but thrive in their relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.

These resilient teens take a bold stand on the authority of the Word of God, defend their faith when challenged, and live on mission with Jesus Monday through Sunday. This unique group of young people remains faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose despite the constant bombardment of secularism in a post-Christian culture.

Like these committed Christians, your teen plays a mission-critical role in Christ’s Kingdom. Jesus commands us to spread the Gospel and make disciples. Failure is not an option.

Is your teen ready for mission-critical?

Friends, teachers, and the world, in general, will tell you that Christianity is a lie. Atheism seems more fashionable today. The culture tells you to look and act certain ways, or people will think you’re a loser or weird. If you say you believe in God, you can expect people to be in your face, doing their best to tear down God, the Bible, and your belief in Christ.

By now, you may even have a few doubts – everything seems so crazy and pointless; how can you believe God really does care about what is going on with you? Or if God is in charge of this chaos called life?

You aren’t the only one with questions! Find great answers to 15 popular faith questions and discover why the world is such a mess, why you can believe in Christ, and why God wants a relationship with you!

Three Sessions

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Colossian 3:16

Behind Enemy Lines

Times have changed. The Bible, Judeo-Christian morality, Biblical ethics, and the Church’s influence once found a prominent place at the center of our culture. Today, many Christians now struggle for an intellectual voice in society and even in conversations among close friends.

Devoted followers of Jesus are marginalized and even looked upon as intolerant and closed-minded. Christians trying to live faithfully to God’s Word feel that they are now fighting behind enemy lines.

In this introductory talk, we survey the changing mindset in the culture and, sadly, much of the Church. We look to the Bible for our battle plan and strength to thrive as Christ-followers in what many believe is a post-Christian culture.

B.E.A.S.T School

There has never been a better time to share the truth of the Bible and the gospel with confidence and live out the Biblical command to “give a defense for the hope within you.” (1 Peter 3:15) Yet, many Christians are intimidated when sharing their faith. They want to but struggle to connect what they read in the Bible to what they see in the world around them.

Learn how to answer objections that often stand between someone and their closer examination of the Bible and Jesus Christ. We look to the Scriptures and examine apologetics from understanding that it is an aid to gospel proclamation. We call it Basic Expository Apologetics Skills Training (B.E.A.S.T.) School.

If even the words “expository apologetics” intimidates you, this talk is for you. At ease, soldier.

The Final Command

All four gospels, as well as The Acts of the Apostles, record the risen Christ’s final words to His disciples. He commissioned His friends and set His Church in motion. Jesus commands each of us to “Go and make disciples. . .” The Great Commission is the mission-critical assignment of the Church. Failure is not an option. Failure is catastrophic.

Jesus is our King. You don’t just believe in kings—you obey them. It will take fully-committed, obedient soldiers in Christ’s army to stand on the authority of God’s Word and proclaim the Good News of Jesus from your neighborhood to the nations. Being a disciple of Christ will take a genuine commitment, sacrifice, and a cross to bear.

We find our power, strength, and joy to follow Jesus through the Spirit of God in the Word of God. Let’s discover together how to live with real purpose as soldiers of the King in obedience to His Final Command.

Brian Dobler

founder, tyrannus hall

Brian has a contagious enthusiasm when it comes to sharing the creation-gospel message. An evangelist at heart, he desires to see Christians defend their faith and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ more effectively (1 Peter 3:15).

Tyrannus Hall is a discipling/creation apologetics (i.e., bible-defending) ministry. Our primary focus is providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis, as it is the most attacked book of the Bible.

We also desire to train others to develop a Biblical worldview and live for the glory of God. Not only do we teach Biblical creation, but we expose the bankrupt philosophy of molecules-to-man evolution and its “millions-of-years” of earth history that has led so many people to doubt the Christian faith (2 Corinthians 10:5).
